Based out of Brooklyn NY, Venezuelan/American musician, Daniel Tortoledo, offers an intimate glimpse to his untamed dreams with his wild voice and exuberant live performances, making the stage a place he likes to call home. His music has often been compared to the likes of Neil Young, George Harrison, Rory Gallagher and more contemporary ones such as Justin Vernon and Devendra Banhart.
Tortoledo’s primary focus in his first years in NYC was his first original band The Highway with whom he toured and played continuously for over a decade. As time developed so did his involvement with another Brooklyn project CANET. Both bands served as growing paths for his new sound and project to come to life.
Between 2016 and 2017, after spending a good amount of time writing and recording, his first solo album Through Out These Years came to fruition in early 2019.
